Squash Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 or 5 yellow squash
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 c. crushed cracker crumbs
1 c. cheese, cut up
6 slices bacon
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Fry bacon; set aside. Cook squash and onion until tender. Drain off most of the water. Add cracker crumbs, cheese, salt and pepper. Add crumbled up bacon; mix well. Place in baking dish. Pour 2 tablespoons of bacon grease over top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
