Mexican Pile-On - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. tortilla chips or Fritos
    1 c. long-cooking rice
    4 c. chili, heated
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 head lettuce, chopped
    1 large tomato, diced
    1 c. sour cream
    1 avocado, diced
    1 (2 1/4 oz.) can sliced black olives
    picante sauce
Preparation
    Crush
    chips into small pieces.
    Cook rice according to package directions.
    To
    serve, layer on a dinner plate in the order ingredients are
    listed
    using
    2/3 cup of chips and 2/3 cup chili
    per person.\tRemaining ingredients are used according to taste.
    May
    be served in flour tortilla shell.
    Serves 6.
