Fresh Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 slices bacon
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 c. fresh corn
    3 c. shredded cabbage
Preparation
    Fry bacon in skillet, then remove.
    Add water, salt and sugar to
    bacon
    drippings and bring to a boil.
    Add corn and cabbage and
    cook,
    covered,
    until
    tender, about 7 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Garnish with bacon strips.
