Nut Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 eggs
    14 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large, flat pan, 11 x 16-inch.
    Preheat oven to 275\u00b0.
    Mix together the brown sugar, salt, soda, eggs, flour and nuts.
    Pour batter over the butter.
    Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
    The batter will spread as it cooks.
    Cool and cut into bars.
