Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. yellow squash
    1 small pkg. cream cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 doz. crackers
    1/4 lb. butter or oleo
Preparation
    Cook squash and onions together until tender.
    While squash is still warm, add cream cheese, crumbled, and oleo, cut in small pieces.
    Save enough oleo to dot on top.
    Place half cracker crumbs on top.
    Add eggs and place in a greased casserole.
    Cover with remaining cracker crumbs and dot with butter.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven until set and crackers are slightly brown.
