Mississippi Mud - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine, softened
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 large container Cool Whip, thawed
    1 (3.9 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine butter/margarine, pecans and flour; mix until crumbly. Pat in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool completely.
    Blend together cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1/2 container Cool Whip.
    Spread on cooled crust.
    Prepare pudding according to package instructions.
    Place in refrigerator until thickened, about 1/2 hour.
    Spread pudding on cream cheese layer.
    Top with remaining cream cheese.
    Chill for 2 hours.
