Strawberry Angel Food Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. sliced frozen strawberries
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 (10-inch) angel food cake, torn in small pieces
    1 large container Cool Whip
    boiling water
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in 2 1/2 cups of boiling water.
    Stir in strawberries, sugar and salt.
    Cool until it begins to thicken. Fold in Cool Whip.
    Mix mixture with angel food cake.
    Press into a cake pan.
    Refrigerate 4 to 5 hours to set.
    Cut into squares. Top with Cool Whip and/or strawberries.
