Shrimp Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can broken shrimp pieces
    1 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    1 onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Drain and rinse shrimp.
    Refrigerate shrimp in water for 30 minutes.
    Cream the cheese and butter together; add lemon to mixture, then chopped onion.
    Drain shrimp and add to mixture. Salt and pepper to taste.
    Chill for several hours.
    Serve with choice of crackers.
