Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Karo (white)
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. water
    2 c. raw peanuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar, Karo and water in heavy saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Stir in peanuts gradually so as to not lose the boil.
    Keep at rolling boil until peanuts pop and liquid turns caramel color. Remove from heat.
    Add soda and salt.
    Stir well.
    Pour on well-greased cookie sheet that has been lightly buttered and sprinkled with salt.
