Leek And Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large potatoes
    3 to 4 leeks
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. tamari
    red pepper
    water
    black pepper
Preparation
    Wash leeks well.
    Chop all of the white portion and some of the green.
    Peel and chop the potatoes.
    Combine all in a soup pot with the spices.
    Add enough water to cover all by about 1/2 inch. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover and cook for at least 40 minutes.
    Let cool somewhat and puree in a blender or mash with a potato masher.
    Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
