Red Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. red food coloring
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Alternate flour, cocoa mixture and buttermilk to mixture.
    Beat well. Dissolve soda in vinegar.
    Add to batter. Add salt, vanilla and food coloring.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
