Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and shortening.
    Add sugar and vanilla.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, until well blended.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt; add alternately with milk.
    Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
