Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    4 Tbsp. taco seasoning
    1 c. water
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 firm, ripe tomato, chopped
    1 small head lettuce, shredded
    1 small bag restaurant-style tortilla chips
    6 sliced pimento-stuffed olives
    salsa
Preparation
    Brown meat and drain well.
    Add taco seasoning and water and simmer about 15 minutes.
    Place in a large bowl and chill.
    Add onion, mayonnaise and cheese, mixing gently.
    Toss in tomato, lettuce and chips that have been coarsely crushed.
    Sprinkle with olives and top with salsa.
    Serves 4 to 6.
