Apple Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1 egg
1 c. sour milk (buttermilk)
1 tsp. each of soda, salt and vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. diced apples
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 Tbsp. melted oleo
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Combine
in bowl, brown sugar, oil and egg.
In another bowl, mix buttermilk, salt, baking soda and vanilla.
Add both mixtures together alternately with flour;
mix well after each addition. Fold
in
apples and nuts.\tPour into muffin papers or
greased muffin
pans
and
sprinkle sugar, oleo and spice mixture over top.
Bake\tat 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Makes about 15 muffins.
