Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. Italian bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. diced onion
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, cut in bite-size cubes
3 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. oil
1 (12 to 15 oz.) jar pizza sauce
4 c. cooked rice
Preparation

In a medium bowl, mix first 6 ingredients with a fork.
Shape mixture into 12 meat balls with a cube of cheese in the center of each.
On waxed paper, coat each meat ball lightly with flour.
In 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, heat salad oil.
Cook meat balls until brown on all sides.
Spoon off fat.
Add pizza sauce. Heat to boiling.
Reduce heat to low.
Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve on rice.
