Hot Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 ripe tomatoes, peeled
1 onion
12 hot peppers or desired amount
3 bell peppers
6 banana peppers (optional)
3 cloves garlic
1 c. vinegar
1 c. water
1 tsp. salt
3/4 Tbsp. pepper
3/4 tsp. sugar (more, if desired)
1/3 c. oil
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
16 oz. bottle catsup
Preparation

Add the last 8 ingredients to the vegetables; put in a large pot.
Bring to a boil, then simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours until desired thickness is reached.
Refrigerate or place in hot jars.
Seal. Cover with water and boil 30 minutes.
Makes approximately 5 pints.
