Lemon Raisin Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 egg
    2 lemons (juice)
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. chopped raisins
Preparation
    In saucepan, mix together sugar, egg, lemon juice and lemon rind.
    Cook until thickened.
    Remove from heat and cool.
    Add mayonnaise, pecans and raisins.
    Chill well.
    Serve with Ritz or other crackers.
    Will serve about 20 and will keep several days in refrigerator.
