Maple-Walnut Corn Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. maple syrup
    2 Tbsp. light brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 large eggs
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 tsp. maple extract
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Brush two 7-stick corn stick pans generously with oil.
    Place in oven for about 5 minutes until hot.
