Summer Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh green beans
    2 large potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch cubes)
    1 bag or can whole kernel corn
    1 onion, chopped coarse
    1 stick butter or margarine
    milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil green beans, potatoes, onion and corn until tender; drain.
    Add milk to cover vegetables.
    Add butter, salt and pepper.
    Heat until butter melts.
    Do not boil.
