Barbecued Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cooked pinto beans
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 large onion, diced
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    2 slices bacon
    barbecue sauce
Preparation
    These are elongated tubers, part of a hardy sunflower, in no way related to the globe artichoke.
    They have beige skins and crisp white flesh.
    Select firm unblemished tubers with no soft spots.
    Will keep in a plastic bag in refrigerator up to 1 week. Scrub well.
