Crisp Cucumber Pickles(May Prepare Ahead. Makes 4 Jars.) - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            1 gal. small cucumbers
 
8 small onions
1/2 c. salt
5 c. sugar
5 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. turmeric
1 Tbsp. pickle spice
Preparation
- 
                            Mix salt, onions and cut-up cucumbers.
 
Put in ice cubes.
Let stand 3 hours.
Bring sugar and vinegar to a boil.
Pour in drained cucumbers and onions; add spices.
When the mixture comes to a boil, pour into sterilized jars and seal.
