Stupid Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    whipped cream or Cool Whip
    3/4 c. sugar
    20 round Ritz crackers or soda crackers
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Add vanilla and sugar to egg whites.
    Beat until smooth.
    Add crackers, coarsely broken and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Pour into ungreased pie plate.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
    Cool.
    Cover with whipped cream or Cool Whip and chill 2 or 3 hours.
    Rich and delicious.
