7-Up Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small pkg. lime gelatin
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 c. chopped pecans
    7-Up as needed
    1 large can fruit cocktail
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in water.
    Drain fruit cocktail and crushed pineapple, reserving juice.
    Add enough 7-Up to fruit juice to make 3 cups of liquid.
    Add fruit juice mixture to gelatin mixture and chill until almost set.
    Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, salt, nuts, fruit cocktail and pineapple.
    Add to chilled gelatin and refrigerate until firm.
