Amy'S Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 sticks butter
1 large spoon Crisco
2 c. sugar
10 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. flavor
4 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. yellow food color
lemon icing (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Use large cup.
Beat eggs until foamy; set aside.
Combine sugar, butter and Crisco; blend until creamy. Add flavor and coloring.
Add 1 cup flour and blend with egg each time.
Mix well.
Grease large pound cake pan; dust excess flour from pan.
Bake for 1 hour.
Cool before icing.
