Easy Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    2 or 3 cans chili beans (15 1/2 oz. size)
    1 (32 oz.) can tomato juice
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    2 cloves garlic or garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook beef until lightly browned (not hard).
    Drain off grease. Combine all ingredients in slow electric cooker.
    Cook 10 to 12 hours on low or 5 to 6 hours on high.
