Braised Beef In Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef round steak, pound thin
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 large onion, sliced thin
    1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed beef broth
    1 (12 oz.) can beer
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 clove garlic, mashed
    1 tsp. thyme
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Pound steak in flour and salt.
    Brown in hot oil.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Thicken slightly with 1 tablespoon flour in 2 tablespoons water.
    Serve immediately.
    Can be prepared ahead and can be frozen.
