Sweet Pickle Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar (double sugar if sweeter pickle is desired)
    3 Tbsp. salt
    4 1/2 tsp. celery salt
    4 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    3/4 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Use fresh, firm, small cucumbers.
    Wash and cut them into sticks.
    Pour boiling water over cucumbers and let them stand overnight.
    The next morning, pack into clean jars.
    Make a solution of ingredients.
    Boil for 5 minutes.
    Pour boiling hot over the cucumbers in jars.
    Process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
