Eggnog - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 qt. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. whipping cream, whipped
nutmeg
Preparation

Beat eggs, sugar and salt.
Stir in milk.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly with whisk until mixture thickens.
Stir in vanilla.
Cool quickly.
Set in pan of ice water.
Stir it.
Cover and refrigerate until completely cooled, overnight.
Fold in whipped cream and sprinkle nutmeg on top.
