Banana-Walnut Muffins - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/3 c. whole walnuts
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3 medium ripe bananas
1/2 c. (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 egg
2 1/2 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 12 (1/2 cup) muffin cups.
Mix together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Combine bananas, butter, egg and milk in medium bowl.
Add banana mixture to dry ingredients, mixing with wooden spoon until just combined.
Add walnuts to mixture.
Divide batter into muffin cups.
Bake 25 minutes.
Turn off oven and leave door slightly open for 10 additional minutes if you desire crispy tops. Otherwise, remove and serve warm or at room temperature.
