New England Skillet Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. sliced carrots
    2 potatoes, cooked, peeled and cut in cubes
    4 c. shredded cabbage
    2 c. corned beef, cut in strips
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. dried leaf thyme
    1/2 c. beef broth
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large skillet.
    Add onion; cook slowly until tender.
    Add carrots, cover and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and cook 10 minutes, or until cabbage is tender.
    Makes 4 servings.
