Morello'S Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients; cut in shortening.
    Add vanilla to milk and egg.
    Fold into dry ingredients.
    Bake about 20 minutes in 450\u00b0 oven.
    Blueberries, nuts or raisins may be used for variation.
