Judson College Banana Bread(From Judson College Dietician In 1940'S) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 large ripe bananas
    1 c. ground nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar, add well-beaten eggs.
    Add mashed bananas.
    Sift together flour and soda and add gradually to mixture. Stir in vanilla and nuts and bake in slow oven (350\u00b0) for 45 minutes or until firm in center.
    Use long pan.
