Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground chuck, browned
4 or 5 potatoes, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 can mushroom soup
1 can water
1 c. mild Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Place layer of meat in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
Add a layer of sliced onions on top of meat.
Place a layer of sliced potatoes on top.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Mix the can of soup with the water.
Pour over potatoes.
Top with cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.
