Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 bananas
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour bottom of loaf pan.
    In large bowl, blend first four ingredients and beat 2 minutes.
    Add flour, soda, salt and baking powder and blend until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
    Stir in nuts.
