Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. peanuts
    1 tsp. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 heaping tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Put sugar, water and syrup in pan and boil until it crackles in cold water.
    Add peanuts and cook slowly until the peanuts are roasted.
    Add vanilla, margarine and baking soda.
    While it is still foaming, pour on greased cookie sheet.
    Cool; break into pieces.
