Basil Cream Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans whole tomatoes, squeezed
    4 or 5 garlic cloves
    1/2 plus c. heavy cream
    oils (sufficient to saute garlic cloves)
    2 tsp. dried basil or 1/2 cup fresh
Preparation
    In a large frying pan, saute garlic in oil until tender but not brown.
    Add basil.
    Continue sauteing for a few seconds. Remove garlic cloves.
    Add tomatoes and cook for 20 to 30 minutes. Shut off and add 1/2 cup heavy cream or more to your taste.
