Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 green peppers
    12 red peppers
    12 onions
    3 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. sugar
    4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Remove seeds from peppers.
    Chop peppers and onions.
    Pour boiling water over the vegetables and let stand 5 minutes.
    Drain. In a stainless steel or enamel kettle, add other ingredients and cook for 20 minutes.
    Seal in sterilized jars.
