Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream
    butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, then vanilla, flour and salt.
    Mix\twell;
    add
    soda
    to buttermilk and stir well. Add to mixture
    and
    beat\t3 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
    Add black walnuts, if desired.
