Sweet Potato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed sweet potatoes
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon and nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. raisins

Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and eggs that have been beaten well.
Add sweet potatoes; mix well.
Sift together remainder of dry ingredients, then add alternately with milk and nuts.
