Honey Bowl - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large can whole apricots
1 large can pineapple chunks
1 or 2 large cans other fruits
1/2 c. brandy or sweet vermouth
1 c. honey (preferably dark)
2 to 3 c. liquid from canned fruits
2 sticks cinnamon
slivered pieces of 1 orange
1 c. grated coconut
Preparation

Bring to a boil the honey, fruit, liquid, cinnamon sticks and oranges.
Simmer for about 1/2 hour; let cool.
Arrange fruits, except for pineapple, inside bottom and sides of glass bowl.
Put pineapple in center.
Pour brandy or sweet vermouth over fruit and let stand.
Mix coconut with boiled honey mixture and pour over fruit.
This should cover the fruit fairly well.
Let stand at least 6 hours, 24 hours or overnight is better, before serving.
