Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 large can tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 bay leaves
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    celery salt to taste
    1 1/2 lb. cooked shrimp
Preparation
    Saute onions, green peppers and celery in butter. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasonings and simmer for about 40 minutes.
    Add cooked shrimp just before serving.
    Serve over cooked rice. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
