Blueberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs, separated
    3 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. blueberries (fresh, frozen or canned), drained
    1 Tbsp. flour
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Cream together shortening and 1 1/2 cups sugar.
    Add vanilla and egg yolks.
    Beat until light and fluffy.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add dry ingredients alternately to creamed mixture with milk, mixing well.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
