Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. shortening
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1/2 c. buttermilk
3 c. flour

Preparation

Cream together the first 3 ingredients.
Add buttermilk, soda in buttermilk and flour.
Beat well and pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Top with Crumb Mixture.
