Rhubarb Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 c. white sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    2 c. rhubarb or sour cherries
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Mix the first 7 ingredients together; set aside.
    Mix together and put in bottom of cake pan the rhubarb or sour cherries, brown sugar and melted butter.
    Put the batter on top.
    Bake.
    Eat with milk while warm, or cold is good, too.
