Chinese Beef And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. uncooked rice
1/4 c. salad oil
salt to taste
3 c. boiling water
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 medium onions, chopped
4 stalks celery, chopped
2 green peppers, chopped
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
mushrooms (optional)

Preparation

In large skillet, cook and stir rice in oil over medium heat until golden brown.
Add salt, water, bouillon cubes and soy sauce.
Cover tightly.
Simmer 20 minutes.
Stir in onions, celery, green pepper, mushrooms and beef.
Cover tightly; simmer 20 minutes longer or until all liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
