Pickled Hot Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (1 lb.) pkg. hot dogs, cut into chunks
    1 large onion, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. ground cumin
    1 small bottle pepper sauce (3 oz.)
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Cut up hot dogs and onion and set aside.
    Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
    Simmer 5 minutes. Pour sauce over hot dog chunks and onion slices.
    Cover tightly. Refrigerate several days before serving.
