Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 chicken breast halves or 1 whole (2 1/2 lb.) fryer plus 1 extra breast
    6 c. water
    2 stalks celery with leaves
    1 onion
    salt to taste
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    4 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    butter
Preparation
    Remove skin and fat from chicken.
    Put into pot with water, celery, onion, salt and thyme. Simmer until chicken is tender. Refrigerate and let chicken mixture cool.
    Lift out chicken pieces and remove bones.
    Cut chicken into bite-size pieces.
    Measure 3 1/2 to 4 cups of broth; strain broth and add flour mixed with a small amount of cold water.
    Cook until thickened.
    Remove from stove and cool.
