Corn Meal Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together in mixing bowl. Stir in cornmeal.
    Beat eggs slightly in a separate bowl.
    Pour the beaten eggs, milk and melted butter in the dry ingredients. Stir until well mixed.
    Spoon a heaping teaspoonful of batter onto wax paper.
    Coat dumplings with a little extra cornmeal.
    Drop dumplings into simmering stock or stew.
    Cover tightly for 15 minutes.
    Do not remove cover.
