Spicy Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion
    1 garlic clove
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 egg
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
    1/2 tsp. ground allspice
    1/2 tsp. oil for frying
Preparation
    Finely chop the onion; crush the garlic.
    Put with rest of ingredients except for the oil into a bowl and mix well together. Shape mixture into walnut-sized balls.
    Fry the meatballs in shallow oil for about 15 minutes, turning once.
    Arrange on a warmed serving plate and serve with rice, pasta or gravy.
