Easy Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 peeled, pitted and sliced peaches
    lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. milk
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Prepare peaches and place in bowl.
    Sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent browning.
    Stir; turn fruit into a 3-quart baking dish. Combine cornstarch and 1 cup sugar; stir to mix well.
    Sprinkle mixture over fruit in baking dish and stir until well combined. Taste and add additional sugar if needed.
    Dot prepared peach mixture with 2 tablespoons butter.
    Set aside while preparing biscuit topping.
